Fiberglass grating is manufactured by interlacing reinforcing fiberglass strands in polyester resin. The grid produced using this technique produces a product with 25-35% (total weight) glass fiber reinforcement. All grates are made of high quality thermoset polyester resin, heat cured in a mould. For occasions with a high level of fire-resistant areas, flame retardants are added in the production process to achieve the level 25 or lower level 1 fire rating specified by ASTM-E-84. Add color paste to resin to make various colors. Includes UV inhibitor to meet UL-94-VO specifications. The life expectancy of FRP grating products produced according to these specifications can reach 10-15 years.
